saved from what?

and why does this perfect, all-powerful god have the need to be pleased by the likes of us?

only your faith can answer these questions; no verifiable facts exist to support such beliefs.

Those who are saved and know it.
Those who are not saved yet think they are.
Those who are saved and do not know they are saved.
Those who are not saved and know they are not saved

Santiago, welcome to the thread! This one is a little different than the one I normally encounter you on.

Relative to the above, some questions:

1) relative to "being saved", what is there about the process that is known:
a) to the individual in question?
b) observable by others?
c) and only observable by God?

2) Is this viewpoint found in all segments of Christianity, or only some? Which ones? Are there differing viewpoints?

3) How does one distinguish between the four groupings
indicated above?

4) what is the scriptural basis for these notions?

5) what is the definition of "sin" in your Path and the
basis for it in scriptures?

6) what activities constitute "sin" relative to not having
the ability to not sin?

7) what is your definition of common-garden guilt, and the
distinction between it and righteous guilt? What is the scriptural basis?

Your spelling this out will give me a better idea of where you are coming from.

Namaste!

Jim
