"because you can't prove it, it is belief" My attempting to prove something to you does not work, for the reasons you point out--it just elevates the notion to a theory, or maybe at best a belief. The only thing that works is if YOU prove something to YOUR satisfaction (whatever that may be). This inevitably leads to questions like: -- who ARE you? -- what evidence do you have that you exist? -- how is it that you are aware of ANYTHING? -- are you the one beating your heart? -- does anything exist outside of you? -- if so, how do your relate to that? -- is it ONLY belief that determines the framework of your perception? -- are there any INHERENT, hard-wired beliefs (example: the consciousness of the immune system)? -- what ARE your conscious beliefs? -- are there any sub-conscious beliefs? Maybe these would not be YOUR questions, but you get the drift, I am sure. Namaste! Jim
