That's almost a verbatim quote from the VAX and SUN guys I had to tackle 15 years ago to get (then) DOS/TEL (now Wintel) machines in.

I think it was Novell, which made PCs into servers and that is when PCs started to eat the lunch of VAXes of the world.

You can get Intel based systems with 2, 4 or 8 way designs. Where can you get those 4 or 8 way designs for the AthWiper. The availability of even the 2 way AthWiper is extremely limited.

BTW you still have not addressed the problem the AthWipe MP has with fast NICs
