Addi.. I must admit my ignorance.. I have heard some hadiths that are quoted now and again.. And book of Hadith is basically the Prophet's guidance on different aspects of life during his life time and compiled by people; perhaps during and after his life.. So it is something totally different then Quran.. So here again question of authenticity rises.. Can one be absolutely sure that the person who compiled it did not introduce his own biases.. Your typical muslim, including yours truly, probably has just a cursory knowledge of hadiths and is not something that is in any way referred to and adhered to in any strict way.. Scholars and students of religion probably studies and delve into it then your average person.. I submit that is true of most muslims about practice of the religion as well and that is why you will find muslims who are educated and moderate to the talibans of the world.. That is also why you have countries like Turkey and then you have Saudi Arabia..
