My PC passed all the diags. I called Dell back. The only way they'll
replace the NIC is if they talk me through formatting the whole hard
drive and reinstalling ME and the problem still happens or if I install
an identical NIC and I still have the problem. Seeing if the problem
repeats in another PC isn't acceptable. So if I have to do a complete
reinstall before my guarantee is up I'll jump through their hoops,
otherwise I'm out a NIC. Another possibility is seeing if I can find
the NIC in store with a liberal return policy.
