Yes, I think it is somewhat interesting that Fujitsu can make a better SPARC based system than Sun.


If you knew some of the early engineering Hal people, it's easy to understand.

I think the bottom line is two of the top ten are not x86 based.

Another interesting observation is that even though x86 based machine do well in clustered configuration, in non-clustered configuration, there is only 1 x86 based machine, Unisys with 32 900 MHz Cascades processors:
