Dear Zoltan: No the Millage is the total paid ON assessed value. I can assure you its over 2% in Collier, but when I have a chance will pull out my bills and give it exact to you each county. I think the reason Collier is higher is twofold, first much newer, rapidly growing and schools etc need to be built, second, less dense population than Palm Beach County so less people to bear the burden. But, just give me a day or so to find my bills and we will settle it once and for all. Frankly, I would like YOU to be correct. I noted your references but I think that must be the basic tax without all the EXTRAS they put on down here for every little thing. jdn
