Qwest was the big buyer of secondary equipment. It's done them a heck of a lot of good when one examines their stock price movement. NOT.

I knew Cisco was taking share from Juniper but I'm surprised by how much just recently.

The "old" stuff is ok, most can be moved towards the edge to get useful life out of the stuff but the backbones are different animals.

Sure is looking like the bottom of this cycle was in September. But we will be dogged by rolling sector hick-ups going out. My chip connections say things are really picking up in a few areas. Everybody burned down inventories too far!

I still would like the market to correct. Can't get greedy.
