Pierre: Still, it's an interesting discussion of how those pesky covenants (of which I think LWIN has several) can doom a company.

Well, it a good point to watch.

These covenants apply to the three companies providing Vendor Financing!

Lucent, Nortel, and Ericsson.

As far as I have seen. Nortel has been used only to build the Toledo/Sandusky market. CapEx used. 25 million.

Ericsson has built Reno, Bosie, Spokane, Eugene, Salem, Modesto, Merced, Visallia

Cap Ex Used 127 million.

If either of these two balk.. You pay them their Debt with cash on hand and send them on their way! Lucent would be problematic. Harvey is only asking for an extension of 1Quarter. LWIN also asked the FCC for a 2 year extension on some of their buildout deadlines on some of their spectrum. 4 months later. LWIN removed some 12 licenses from the list all together! And reduced the deadline extension request from 2 years to 6 months on the rest of the properties!

Harvey is proactive on addressing possible problems before they happen.

Not sure how Qwest got themselves into the pickle they are in.
