Raptor Announces Turner Valley Well

CALGARY, Feb. 13 /CNW/ - Mr. Norman J. Mackenzie, Chairman of Raptor
Capital Corporation ("Raptor") announces that the Turner Valley Whiskey
Lsd 3 Sec 8 Twp 22 Rge 3 W5M Development well has commenced operations with
Impact Energy Inc. as operator. The 11,000 ft well will test the Mississippian
Turner Valley Overthrust potential of Section 8 and will take approximately 70
days to complete.
The 3-8 well is approximately 1 mile north of the Impact Whiskey
Lsd 7 Sec 5 Twp 22 Rge 3 W5M gas condensate discovery that was placed on
stream November 2001; and 2 miles north of the Impact Whiskey Lsd 10 Sec 32
Rge 21 Twp 3 W5M well rig-released in January 2002. A successful well at 3-8
will be tied into a natural gas production pipeline located approximately
2 1/2 miles south of the 3-8 surface location for processing at the Quirk
Creek Gas Plant. The 3-8 well is 3.5 miles south of the Shell Sarcee Gas Field
which has produced in excess of 175 Bcf natural gas from two wells in the
thrusted Turner Valley Mississippian formation. Raptor will have a 10.8%
working interest after payout in Section 8.
