for God to speak to me. Only once was
my mind so crystal clear, so free of
white noise, that I could hear God.

God said,

Naturally I was completely freaked out
and could not think of a good question
to ask. Talk about missed opportunities.

Since then I've gradually lost interest,
knowing I wont get a second chance, and
suspecting that God isn't really out there
and that I'd imagined the voice anyway.

But a good story, and true.
