I agree with you. Shorting in general, is tough during the favorable season, appx between Nov and April. Once we get to the fall months, it is easier. I think we will make a low, maybe even a new low, by then. But how we get there from here is uncertain. The path can be really torturous. Skittishness is the name of the game. If something turns against you, just get out, wait it out and get back in later when conditions are suitable again.
