To all/anyone. New and very "green" to option trading. Still learning and paper trading. One question I have: when is a good time, in general, to stop trading current month options?

For example, the straddles mentioned by Triffin in post #753 seem like they might not have enough time to "work" in order for the straddles to pay off. Or, do options bounce a lot more as expiration nears??

Hope the above makes sense.

TIA for anyone's help

Jeff

Triffin,

Why didn't Dell attract your attention? I am looking at the $27.50 straddle.

thank you Jim...i'd like to do something with AGIL & KOPN..

especially if we could get close to the bid prices..

KOPN...$10/$10 straddle...bid prices combined 65 cents.

AGIL..$15 call/$12.50 put...bid prices combined 10 cents..

only two days left on these though...so i'm a bit hesitant....maybe i'll look at Marchs.
