QQQ INTC SUNW CSCO all extremely heavily optioned, and all are sitting within cents not dollars of max pain as I type.

Mish, When I look at the Cisco options for example, I see a lot of trading of the Feb calls and not much of the Feb puts. In addition, there is lots and lots of option interest on the call and not much on the puts.

What does that mean, if anything?

btw---I think lead into Dell's earnings tomorrow afternoon should result in a Nasdaq selloff; HWP was expected to be great but I found their comments far less than bullish on corporate buying and Dell is a corporate seller primarily.
That is my reason for thinking that tomorrow afternoon, we head down as bad news gets anticipated. They should deliver good earnings but the outlook should be pretty bad.
The AMAT and HWP "good" news is out of the way now and reality should set in soon.

jmho.
