How do you do it ? Have not been to SA II for a while, will see if I can find the posts you reference. I talked to stockcharts and asked about getting relative strength capability within their system and they said it's being worked on. I would like to be able to build within their system some kind of table per industry like the one below for gold: ABX:$HUI AEM:$HUI ASL:$HUI AU:$HUI BGO:$HUI BVN:$HUI CAU:$HUI CBJ:$HUI CDE:$HUI CDNR:$HUI CGCO:$HUI CRRS:$HUI DAY:$HUI DROOY:$HUI ECO:$HUI EPAR:$HUI GG:$HUI GLG:$HUI GOLD:$HUI HGMCY:$HUI HL:$HUI HVGO:$HUI KGC:$HUI KRY:$HUI LIHRY:$HUI MAENF:$HUI MDG:$HUI NEM:$HUI PAAS:$HUI PDG:$HUI RANGY:$HUI RGLD:$HUI RIC:$HUI SIL:$HUI SLGLF:$HUI SSMR:$HUI TVX:$HUI USGL:$HUI and look at % change for different time periods weekly , daily, 60 minute, 15 minute and see if that will drop ou t the movers and the shakers. (gaser stocks)/XNG oil service/OSX kinda stuff. I could always download historical quotes from Yahoo! and do it all within a spreadsheet but I'm too lazy for thaat. Need more thought for intermarket, maybe use the SPX as the divisor. Very Late off to bed. Look forward to your post. Ordered the JOhn Murphy book referenced in the above link Trading Strategies for the Global Stock, Bond, Commodity and currency MArkets. the table of contents shows a chapter on relative strength. Cost me $7 used off amazon, coffee stains all over it ~ it ships today!!! Have you read it ?
