aj, A run to 1880 in this uncertain environment looks extremely unlikely to me.

Down 50 points on the Naz today looks more realistic.

Qwest drawing on their huge Line of Credit is negative news. Watch the price of gold this morning. Sort of flat to down right now but if Gold starts moving rapidly higher, we are heading down. That is the way I see day unfold at least until JPM and Q make some statement to clarify the situation.

Still think "smart money" will anticipate a bad outlook on the corporate spending from Dell this afternoon---another reason to sell ahead of the report.

This is one time I don't think max pain on QQQs is going to work. We shall see.
