I'm not standing up for the Enron Board. To the contrary, I'm surprised that such a distinguished group didn't ask the right questions, or if they did, that they got duped.

But the article you posted here serves a more interesting purpose -- from Ms. Watkins', the whistleblower's own version, it seems to confirm some people's suspicion that Lay was duped by Skilling and Fastow.
