Ken - In what capacity were the British there? There were Canadians there too - but as volunteers serving mainly with the Americans. But my point is that there was no coalition of European allies in Vietnam. Korea on the other hand had wider support and I believe the war was fought under the UN banner although the majority of the forces were American.
