Q's IPR is carried at $0.00 for balance sheet purposes. If Q sold ALL its IPR to someone like Nokia or Intel or IBM, Q would book a profit on the order of tens of billions of dollars.

It would make you happy; but it would be perhaps the dumbest thing Qualcomm could possibly do ...

And the only concern this thread has with the BOD is that one guy served on Enron's board? Go figure.

It is worse than that. Even the concern that an Enron crook was recently re-elected to the BOD, has faded away. Now it is boundless optimism and dollar signs everywhere. But as the wise say : "Bull markets climb a wall of worry and bear markets cascade down a staircase of optimism".
