There are a certain number of Adi Da's books which are
the equivalent of reference texts. They are quite dense,
with lots of parentheses. He says if you want, first time through you can skip what is in the parentheses, because that is just further amplification of the preceding topic.

Try it.

Then there are many books which are based on verbal talks,
which are entirely conversational in their nature and much easier to read.

In person he speaks VERY lucidly, VERY humorously (for the most part) and TOTALLY spontaneously(in depth about ANYTHING, even say pig farming, or gene splitting or
antiques or politics in peru)
