Greg, <Those of you, who place so much credence on option sales, are missing a major point>

I think they're still bitter over how Jerry Sanders and his cohorts pump-n-dumped AMD stock back in May 2001, then followed two months later with a warning a mere week before actual earnings release. No one, except for a few delusional AMDroids, believe that Sanders was unaware of a profit shortfall when he exercised his options.

The sale of options, by itself, is innocuous. The sale of options, followed by a stunt like AMD pulled back in 2001, is suspicious.

re: That's right, worthless.
thank you for the lesson :-))

re: You guys should go search for a much better metric to measure the demise of Intel.

looks like you definitely missed the exchange about "Paul special". I posted original sale for Paul who enjoys pointing to Jerry's sales at regular intervals (stock options, maybe?)
It was never meant as a signal of intel's demise, you should give me more credit than that.

re: It's very clear that you have never been issued options or, if you were, they are under water. Sheesh!

well, well, right on target, not. But any lessons about options, both exchange traded and employee incentive, would be greatly appreciated.

BTW what is option anyway :-))
