The Dems just lost another big one with that. It undermimes their whole strategy. They do look like craven idiots.

Their whole defamation campaign against Bush and the GOP was based on Lay's supposed friendship with Bush - even though they were acquaintances rather than friends and, more important, Bush, unlike the Clinton, did nothing to help Lay/Enron.

Of course, that won't stop the Dems from lying. That's like trying to stop time.

Ken Lay should do time, IMO.

For what?

The reason we have trials is to blunt the hysterical lynch mob mentality of those who don't have all the facts, like the media. Until he's indicted, I see no reason to make a judgment.
