That is the way these things always are. Asinine that the public buys into this. Anyone being questioned knows they will be questioned again in a real court would be insane to answer their question's anyhow IMO.

The only question lacking when I watched a few minutes several days ago was, are you or have you ever been a member of the communist party. Where is ole WI Joe when we need a good witch hunt. <ng>

It's disgusting. There is no probative value to these proceedings. As much as I dislike Skilling, Lay and other responsible parties, and as much as I believe that they should be punished for their parts in this, I think that those who chose to take the fifth did the right thing. This belongs in a courtroom, not in front of a bunch of politicians that have probably done equally questionable things in their past.

I should probably move this discussion to the Rant and Rave thread.
