I have provided both technical and fundamental evidence of my assertions on this thread.

As far as your criticism of me buying gold stocks, well...I am .05 cents from 100% gains in my purchase of GOLD (the stock) and I have about 75% gains in my purchase of NEM from some time ago.

My purchase price at $4.51

Current price of GOLD (the stock) $8.97

I consider 100% gains in 5 months to be pretty good.

I am very moved by technologies that change the way we work, live and play. And I do believe eventually, that we will have some wonderful changes in the world based on these technologies...and that there will be profit to be made from them.

The questions then become, do the current economic conditions warrant some consideration? Do financial considerations of the companies that buy the equipment have any bearing on purchasing decisions? *and* who is going to win?

As to the first question, considering corporate debt levels and cash flow issues, I would suggest that the current economic conditions haven't improved enough to get the "all clear" signal for rampant spending on new technologies.

Evidence from the CLEC/DLEC implosion suggests that anyone ignoring the second question is a fool.

and

as to the third question...well, that is a good question. But considering that QCOM hasn't taken over the world yet, maybe the superior technical capabilities of the product is not the solution that the end user is looking for at this time.
