george - PCR = Put/Call ratio on options. What happens after 11:00? Until 10:30 the stock markets are in the hands of the MM/specialists. At 11:00 these have made their day (until 15:00) and leave the markets to the locals (the guys at the options exchanges and at the local exchanges). On Fridays, markets are driven by options traders squaring their positions. Until 15:00 when the pro's are back in town. You have unexpected trend changes (unexpected for us, retail investors, who are not aware of the real interests).
