Interesting coincidence -- I gave up on that one too early.

>>Separately, NVidia, which last year replaced Enron Corp. in the Standard & Poor's 500 Index, also said it was conducting an internal review of the recording of certain reserves and the timing of recording certain expenses in its 2000 fourth quarter and first three quarters of fiscal 2001.

The internal review was spurred by an inquiry from the Securities and Exchange Commission and is related to the SEC's previously announced investigation of alleged insider trading by some NVidia engineers. NVidia has since provided e-mails and other materials to the SEC covering December 1999 to March 2000.

The inquiry notwithstanding, NVidia's results topped even the most optimistic of analyst forecasts, and at least one analyst dismissed the internal review.
