Sheltie,
I don't think it was me, but I could be wrong. I think that I went long on the lawsuit news for about a 3pt bounce (I bought it once on a big drop to 16 or 17, but I don't really remember the details). I only became aware of Dipy from this thread recently.

As far as using Gilder as a reference. I don't consider him credible when dealing with the realities of the business world. Having the slickest technology isn't always the most important criteria in the IT manager's decision making process. As a matter of fact, I would say that normally it is *not* the most important factor.

As far as QCOM being under a "short attack", only 2.5% of the float is shorted.

This is a nominal amount and not enough to really effect the stock price. This should make QCOM longs want to ask the question "Who is selling their long positions?". We pretty much know that it isn't the loyal following here on SI. My guess is that it is institutional selling. If that is true, you should be asking "what do they know, that I don't?".

Thanks,
JXM
