The FCC of the 90's is the most corrupt bureau in the history of bureaus, IMO. And still, that isn't what bothers me. It was their complete ineptitude. They just killed the telecom industry. Made it so the big boys didn't want to build out because they were afraid the government would force them to sell the use of their infrastructure to the little guys at below cost, and the little guys didn't want to build out when they thought they could get it cheaper from regulations imposed on the big boys. end result, was a lose lose lose. Biggest loser, the American working man and woman. And, then there is wireless. Aargh.
