Dell put out a few things of interest in their CC:

1. There are 160,000,000 PCs out there that are now over 3 years old.

2. There are 300,000,000 PCs out there that can't run Windows XP.

Obviously, they're hoping for upgrades to start kicking in since it's starting to be 3 years from the big pre-Y2K upgrades. Rather than predicting when the upgrades would start big time (they said they were seeing a little) they said they, Dell, are the ones that will benefit the most. The predict their market share improvement trend to continue, with no end in sight. One other item was that they said one out of four servers shipped in the US is now a Dell. Certainly, nobody else can say that.
