Mike, Article in Worth on the UWB Era - the last mile bottleneck may be coming down in few years per this. I also posted this on the AMAT thread, thought I would repost here in case any are interested. The article points out this wireless technology is very secure, ultra low power, and the data carrying capacity is "enormous". The downside is range, about a kilometer, but this is apparently about the same as for PCS cell phones. The way it would work I guess is that a lot of service providers would emerge all over the place. Also, for those who have not seen it, this news came out from Nokia: biz.yahoo.com Hope better days are ahead for stocks like GLW. John
