in my opinion our discussion has, at times lowered us both. let's just say we agree to disagree.

i will do my best not to attack you and then you can have the last word.

i spoke with my dad, and there are other denominations who do not believe in eternal hell.

my dad even said matthew 25 indicates 'eternal flames' but not 'eternal suffering.'

there is a book on it by fulgate or fugate or something. i didn't get the name... dad's gonna get me a copy.

ok... there is still john 3:16.. i asked my dad about 'perish' in greek and whether it meant 'eternal suffering' and he just smiled and said, 'no.' i'll take his word.

then there is revelation and the 2nd death.

by the way, my father's congregation is regular adventist (not to be confused with the 7th day variety). this 'fulgate' character is from the church of christ.

oh... and my dad's church is anything but stifling and legalistic. their main idea is to always focus on christ.

...no dietary rules... church on sundays.

'How can a fallen and sinful human being, come into a relationship with a Holy, living, God? '

everyone is wondering that, but the words are different...

just my opinion of course...

calvinist/pentacostal... 'intelesting'...
