NVDA
Nvidia (NVDA:Nasdaq - news - commentary - research - analysis), a maker of PC video cards, said the SEC was investigating whether it is conducting an internal investigation of its accounting records, specifically the recording of certain reserves and expenditures over the course of the last four quarters. The review came as a result of a formal inquiry by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The stock fell $3.58, or 5.8%, to $58.58 before the bell.
NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA / Nasdaq)
Credit Suisse First Boston
Raising fiscal 2003 estimate to $1.76 per share, to match the company's new guidance for its nForce product. Reiterate Buy rating and $75 price target. We believe the company's SEC investigation will not result in any negative action, and would buy the stock on this pull-back.
