I am 100% long in boring old economy equities and have been up 20% plus for each of the last three years.

Those boring old economy stocks (depending on what they are) are probably as overvalued IMHO as many tech stocks.

Tough Love will come to old economy stocks this summer if not sooner.

How overvalued?
Try DOW 7000 this autumn.

To copycat you, I'm not irrationally pessimistic, just weighing the probabilities. To be honest, I dread the down side, but this is no excuse to ignore some troubling facts.

btw - full disclosure (g) - Im no trader either, in the frequency spectrum from a second to infinity, you could look me up somewhere at 4 weeks to 6 months (history says). Of course, I had my fair share of losers, but I try my best not to wait for 4 weeks to get rid of them - that would be (yeah, that's the word!) irrational -.

I did once a distribution of ROIs for my closed transactions and it did look the way some say it should - fatter than normal, more like a Students distribution and nicely assymetric with some 10baggers at the top.
