The movement of PCS over the last couple of months is nothing less than spectacular. The market is telling us something here.

I'm glad someone's paying attention. Capital scarcity kills. Tight markets don't fund sketchy business plans. The bond vigilantes ride again...

L--I have a continuing worry about the quality of management at Sprint PCS. It's not so much the debt levels as the decisions on critical forward looking planning. For example, the decision to go with a Java based web access instead of BREW. That doesn't make much sense if someone has an understanding of how versatile and relatively low cost BREW is. And they haven't handled the 3G rollout very well IMHO, though the delays may be due simply to lack of cash to implement sooner.
