Perhaps you are confusing your interpretation, with my interpretation. Gregism, thank goodness, is confined to you. Since you believe in the Bible and are familiar (I hope) with the multiple interpretations of it, I am surprised you would be confused with multiple interpretations of Shakespeare. Given the context of the lines, and the general breadth of vision of the play, I find your very literal close line reading of the bit you quote too simplistic and unimaginative. But you can think what you like. I just will continue to refuse to think the same thing. I am sorry that is so upsetting for you.

Looming mortality has nothing to do with it. What I said is equally consistent with looming mortality- you obviously need to re-read (how could you fail to realize this with your wonderful comprehension skills?.) The only difference is how, and in what manner the mortality looms, and to what end.
