Opinion pieces tended to be slanted that's why I choose to ignore them.

Just conservative opinion pieces or liberal ones as well?

Besides seeing something from a new angle or slant can be useful, even if you wind up deciding it is wrong.

Mainstream usually reflects what the majority are thinking.

By that definition I would say that many of the so called mainstream news sources are not mainstream.

If I am guilty of what you say, how is that different from what you guys do? For an example.......Clinton has been accused of all sorts of things including rape based on innuendo, hearsay.

Their was a specific accusation of rape not just innuendo. You aren't even claiming anything specific based on innuendo or hearsay, you are implying that there must be something wrong because he knew and took campaign contributions from Enron execs. So Clinton gets accused on more then hearsay and you are putting down Bush on less then hearsay.

" I don't see them as closer then politicians frequently are to hundreds of people. "

May be not but you are not even willing to look.

Point out something specific to take a look at and I will. You don't make a specific charge so you can't be proved wrong, and if anything does come up you can say you where proved correct. If there is some evidence of wrongdoing then I would say full speed ahead on looking in to it but you show no evidence.

However, had it been a Democrat, you would have been all over it.

Not without at least a specific charge or claim of wrongdoing.

Just for the record you don't go bad over night.........ENE execs were always bad but its only coming out now.

Assuming they are "bad" (and it looks likely that most of them are and almost certain that atleast some of them are) I'm not claiming they became bad recently but rather that it became known that they where bad recently. They where not people of notoriously bad character that anyone could have tried to avoid for that reason. Al Sharpton has been a person of notoriously bad character for a long time.
