story.news.yahoo.com

Investors feared that carriers with high debt loads may face a cash-crunch after Qwest Communications International Inc. was forced to use its $4 billion credit line when it was shut out of the short-term debt market, analysts said.

"With Qwest having to take down its credit facility to pay down commercial paper, the concern is now that Sprint and others will maybe have to do the same thing," said W.R. Hambrecht & Co. analyst Peter Friedland.
