Allan, I need your help on this. That 7 contract swing seems significant to me. Don't you think this guarantees BIG DOWN NOW??????? I may be reading too much into it, but that really does show the commitment of traders, if you ask me.

And yeah, I know, nobody did.

Y'all have a nice looooooonnngggg weekend. Me and Freeplet have big plans. Who's coming to the zoo with us? Anyone? Great. Meet ya by the hippos.

RE: COT

Looks like they got less long on gold.
They didn't even flinch with their huge short positions, though.

cftc.gov

It certainly seems that they don't believe in this rally
anywhere near the way the bears and gold bugs believe in it.

What would cause them to unravel their short position?
A strong move above $300 gold or will they wait until a
a retest of the bottom?

I've been thinking about the wild swings in sentiment we have seen the last few months and I am having a hard time believing that there is any sort of large down wave or 'C' wave coming (at least in the next few months)

The way we are oscillating between complacency and fear on a daily basis is not the 'sentiment environment' out of which large declines or rallies arise. I see nothing but a large range for the rest of this year unless we can break the backs of either complacency or fear. This also jibes with the very fact that sentiment measures themselves seem to be conflicting with each other. RYDEX vs. VIX etc.....

From an Elliott standpoint, I think this 'B' wave in tech may go on much longer than most are expecting.
