Yes there are. Kind of funny the way Joseph mentions it though, and writers/analysts almost always mention how AMD is doing when they talk about Intel, and vice versa.

Look at it again, he says manufacturers, plural:

We believe Intel's 0.13-micron
transition and production ramp is progressing very smoothly (in contrast to the
issues some other manufacturers are facing, and consequently there is improving
supply of the Northwood).


Probably not AMD though, since we hear about their 0.13 samples everyday in the news.
