I am optimistic on the recovery in the economy in 2002 but optimistic only on a few subsectors of tech. However, with a few exceptions, most of those in the good subsectors are not all that attractively valued after their Q4 run-ups. Telecom is in a pretty severe depression and it is not coming out anytime soon. I do like BRCD as a long as it isn't facing a massive headwind but it is not going to go up in this environment. I am holding on with a low cost-basis but wish I had sold it higher as it looks like a trading-range stock at this point.
