It appears you missed my point. If organized labor can mobilize America's working men and women (without benefit of hard money, soft money or even green stamps), why can't the Republicans do likewise? They get there own version of soft money called union dues. In many states you can be required to pay them as a condition to have a job. They are not supposed to be used for political purposes without the consent of the payer but government officials let the unions get away with it. Its not just almost unregulated donations its involuntary donations. Tim
