A lot of the labor contributions don't show up as spending officially. The unions have their own campaigns and "in kind" contributions in addition to the cash amounts. Big business spends on both parties. Its sort of protection money and they want to be covered whoever wins. At least businesses contribute their own money unlike unions who force people to contribute. In addition to labor the democrats get almost all the money from trial lawyers. Tim
