Hi Lizzie -- Thumbs up on Netflix service
No late fees, an Amazon-like affinity search, plus videography of directors, actors etc., email confirmations.

I started 3 wks ago after reading an article in Merc. The founder's an interesting bloke, made $700m selling a prev. software co., and is doing this right, so I expect he'll succeed even if Bbuster starts up.

Got the first DVD the next day. The rest (10 or more) are lined up with a buffer of three in-transit/in-house at any time.

Only negative: even 10,000 is not enough complete DVD coverage, the same complaint I have w. BBuster, but DVDs are inherently cheaper and I expect w. be a superset of tape w/in a few years.

Until broadband infrastructure can handle 5 gigs/hr to 50 million homes on an at-will basis, it's a good model, imo.
