9/11 was a wakeup call from other oppressed people of this earth Give me a break, Women and men alike are more repressed by Islam then America could ever repress them. Please tell me HOW the USA opress'd these people? How does the US opress anyone? Do we send out death squads? We opress them by forcing them to Buy COKE and watch the Superbowl? We are the most generous nation in the world, with money come strings. If you dont want the strings dont take the cash. I dont remember the prussians helping the French rebuild after Franco-Prussion war. I dont recall the Arab world opening its borders to Palestinian refugees after 67, 73 etc like the USA did to Europe. America in its creation is a tapestry of all nations and religions. In America Moslims are free to worship, in certain Arab countries Christien and surly JEWS are not. Please tell of this bitter oppression of wonder drugs, comunication technology and soft drinks we instill in the world? Since the Cold war the US has been a pretty damn good world citezen, and I dont see how we are opresing people buy buying everything they can produce. OOOps I forgot those are the opressed people who are economic waste and create nothing. The Taiwanese, South Koreans, British, Australians, Canadians, Mexicans, South Americans or Japenese do not find us Opressing. The chinese might not like are forighn policy but they dont claim we are opressing them. LOOK RRMAN your making alot of unsubstatiated rhetoric, and its boderlining on being ofencive, at least to me.

Its always a mistake to think that one country is poor because another country is rich. During the seventies, when the US faltered, there were some pretty hateful comments made against Japan when in reality our problems here had little to do with Japan coming up in the world. Arab countries suffer from a "resource curse". They can sell oil with little or no effort, the wealth is concentrated in the hands of a few and they have little or no incentive to develop other aspects of their economy at the same time the oil money keeps the local prices high enough that foreign investment goes elsewhere in search of cheap labor.
