>>Sure, Bush can get some yayhoos on board by snapping his fingers, and he might even fool enough to constitute a majority.<<

I don't want to sound like a paranoid, so I'll start off by saying that this was told to me by a guy who works for the CIA - every morning, the President is presented with briefing books, including one from the CIA. Pretty much all he knows about most of what goes on in the world is contained in those briefing books. Some of the most powerful people in the world are the ones who get to decide what is put into the President's briefing books.

Put yourself in his shoes and ask yourself how much you could ever learn about all the things he has to decide. You can't. It's not humanly possible. And you're smarter than he is, probably, and probably more interested in the things that are in the briefing books than he ever will be, than any politician ever will be.

Ask yourself whether any of them ever spend the time we spend searching for the truth. They don't have time. They have to go with what's in the briefing books.

We've got all these smart bombs and fancy electronic weapons that aren't worth a spit against Al Qaeda sleeper cells, and they are stepping all over themselves trying to figure out what to do now. They bombed the crap out of some worthless real estate in Afghanistan, while most of Al Qaeda slipped over the borders into Iran and Pakistan and now what?

Why not bomb Iraq for the heck of it?

I guess I am starting to sound like Ray, which is probably a bad sign.;^)
