Just want to be sure you read t4texas post and link about insurance. Timely. The author doesn't take it quite far enough IMO though. Reserves, reserves, reserves, is what you hear about from the CFO's from the even bigger life companies and guess what, although a great percentage may be "secure" government paper, it's still paper and some of it isn't so secure, and a lot of it is audited by _______ pick your favourite accounting partnerships.
