I also wonder how much of employee's 401Ks were REQUIRED to be in Enron stock. I'm betting that it was ONLY Enron's contribution, which was only up to 50% (and normally, much less)of the employee's contribution.

Good point. We may never know. I have several friends that are just working people that lost much of their 401k money in the last 1 1/2 year and it had nothing to do with Enron....is the government going to make them whole too?

I suspect many folks made a bunch of money just shorting Enron.
