Or how about the Dems new campaign, that GW caused the recession by lowering taxes; and the Dems need to raise taxes to save us. That theme should really go over well. Come to think of it; Mondale tried it already. Well, how about the Dems newest theme, that people have to learn to live within their means: Therefore GW should never have given that tax cut back. I bet that will work even better for Daschle, than Mondale did with his. With smart thinking like that, its a wonder how GW ever got over 50% approval rating.
