I still am amazed that Arafat turned down a peace deal, with Israel, that gave everything to the Palestinians and nothing to Israel.

Perhaps, Europe's long-standing policy of appeasement towards terrorists, influenced Arafat's decision to go to war instead of towards peace?

Perhaps it was Clinton's desire to become famous by getting Israel and the Palestinians to sign a peace deal, during his term in office, even if the peace deal virtually guaranteed Israel's eventual destruction?

Perhaps it was because Arafat knew about the upcoming, horrendous attack against America, and figured he would march into Israel while the blood of Americans stained the streets of New York?

Either way, the real meaning of the name "Palestinian" is "Treacherous Thug".
