Maybe for suicide risk?
That risk is far greater than the "mass murder with friends" risk.
I would personally be much more concerned about suicide and substance abuse, myself- in a loner, as well as in a regular adolescent.
The formation of a personal myth at that age- "I am alone, there has never been anyone going through what I'm going through, everyone is watching me, etc" makes it especially dangerous for children who are alone- since they have no reality check on their personal myth from a peer group. Not that peer groups are that much of a check- but they are better than nothing.
